1. Synchronized Crossing:

The robot vacuum rotates its swinging arms clockwise on each side, simultaneously elevating both legs to clear the barriers like pole vaulting. When the legs are upright, the lifted robot vacuum can cross over. Afterward, the swinging arms return to their original positions, and the legs retract. 

2. Hurdle-Style Crossing:

The robot vacuum rotates its left swinging arm clockwise to engage the left leg, and the right set follows afterward to clear the barriers, mimicking a hurdle jump. This method makes passing over sliding door tracks and U-shaped furniture easier without causing damage.

Before clearing obstacles, the dual-laser sensor intelligently identifies their height and decides the optimal strategy. During the crossing, the bottom ToF sensors measure the lifted robot vacuum's distance above the obstacles and the ground for safe descents and ascents.

Why won’t my robot vacuum turn off?

The robot cannot be turned off while it is charging. Move it away from the charging base, then press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds. If that doesn’t work, press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds to force it to turn off. If the issue continues, please contact Dreame's after-sales service.

How long does the robot take to fully charge?

A full charge takes approximately 4.5 hours when the battery is low.

Why is the robot getting louder while operating?

A clogged dust-box filter, debris caught in the main brushes or inlet, or tangled brushes can increase noise. Check and clean these areas and remove any foreign objects. You can also try switching the suction mode to Standard or Quiet.

Why isn’t the robot following its set cleaning route?

Make sure objects such as power cords and slippers are cleared from the floor before cleaning. Wet or slippery floors can also cause the main wheel to slip, so allow wet areas to dry before using the robot. Keep the robot’s window/sensor area clean with a soft, dry cloth.

Why won’t my robot connect to Wi-Fi?

Try these steps:

• Make sure the Wi-Fi password you entered is correct.
• Connect the robot to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network; it does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
• Make sure the robot has a strong Wi-Fi signal.
• If the connection has timed out, exit and reopen the app, then try connecting again.

Why can’t the robot find its way back to the charging station?

The robot may be unable to return if its route is blocked. Make sure doors and other obstacles are cleared from its path.

Also check that the charging station is connected to power and that the robot is positioned on the base correctly. Keep the area around the station open and free of obstructions.

If the robot repeatedly loses its position, move the station to a more open location and try again. If it cannot return automatically, place the robot on the charging station manually. Keep the station’s signaling area clean and free of dust or debris.

Why does my robot get stuck in front of the charging station?

Make sure there is enough clear space in front of and on both sides of the charging station. Excess water on the floor can also cause the robot to slip, so dry the area before cleaning.

If the problem continues, move the charging station to a different location and try again. Also check that the ramp extension plate is installed correctly.
