Delivery

Is there a delivery fee for online orders?

You will enjoy free delivery* if you spend more than $300 in a single order.

For orders below $300, there is a $10 delivery charge upon checkout.

*For lift landing levels only. Additional charges apply for bulky appliances to be carried up/down stairs.

How do I track my order?

For delivery of bulky appliances:

Upon receiving your order, we will contact you within 3 business days for delivery arrangements. Delivery dates are dependent on availability and could take up to 7 business days. Do take note that delivery timings are fixed and subject to location.

For delivery of small appliances:

Items will be delivered via courier service, Qxpress. You will receive a tracking ID once item has been shipped out.

NOTE: Delivery could take longer than usual during peak periods such as 11.11 sale, end-of-year sale etc.

Do you provide Express Delivery?

Yes, we do provide Next-day Express Delivery - it is a premium on-demand service chargeable at $50, and is non-refundable once scheduled (subject to availability of delivery slots)

Terms and Conditions:

● Only applicable for selected products and models (subject to stock availability)

● Order(s) placed between 12am and 5pm will be delivered on the next business day before 10pm.

● Not applicable for order(s) placed on Sundays, public holidays, and after 5pm on weekdays.

● TV wall-mount services are not available for Express-next Day Delivery; Must be arranged separately if required.

● Some condominiums may have specific delivery time slots, and only allow deliveries from 9am to 5pm. Kindly check with your condominium management for the approved delivery time slot. Please notify them once we have confirmed the delivery date and time.

What is excluded from Next-day Express Delivery?

● Items directly delivered by our suppliers/partners

● Any installation services and air-conditioners requiring installation

● Made-to-order or Pre-order products

NOTE: Mega Discount Store Pte Ltd reserves the right to decline any express delivery request and propose the next available delivery date.

Can I delay my delivery?

Yes! We are able to hold your delivery for up to 2 months. *Subject to stock availability

Is there any area where delivery is not available?

Due to security reasons, special arrangements have to be made to deliver to certain areas, hence additional charges may apply (on top of the $10 delivery charge if your purchase is less than $300) — regardless of the size and type of item.

Areas such as:

● SATS Inflight Catering Centre

● Jurong Island, Pulau Ubin (Do Not Deliver)

● Changi Airport

● Singapore Prison Quarters

● High-security areas that require logistic vehicles to be empty etc.

Do you ship overseas?

No, our delivery service is available only within Singapore.

Store Pickup

When can I collect my "Store Pickup" order?

If you opted for Store Pickup, kindly wait for our staff to call you before coming. This is to ensure that your item is available and also to prevent you from making a wasted trip.

However, if you need it urgently, feel free to call us at 6348-7998 to check if your item is ready for collection.

This policy applies to all our online platforms, including Shopee & Lazada.

Collection Time: 12-9pm

NOTE: Your item(s) may not be immediately available for pickup as we might not have ready stock for all items listed online.

What do I need to bring for store pickup?

Simply show our staff the order confirmation on your phone or printed copy where you arrive for pickup.

Installation

How much is the installation fee?

Freestanding Washing Machine, Dryer, Dishwasher:
Free basic installation: connecting of inlet and outlet hose. Please make sure you have a suitable and available tap.

Freestanding Refrigerator: Free basic installation (Ensure that there is ample space for the refrigerator to be moved to the designated area. Additional charges apply if the refrigerator door needs to be dismantled)

Television:

  • Table-top setup: Free (40" & above)
  • Fixed-bracket wall mount installation: $60-$100*
  • Swivel bracket wall mount: $100 & above*

*depending on TV size

(Additional charges may apply if you have a false/feature wall that requires reinforcement - quoted by the installer)

Built-in appliances (Hob, Hood, Oven, Dishwasher, etc): Estimated $60-$180 for basic installation only. (same cut-out size). Additional charges apply if alterations are required.

Ceiling Fan

  • With wired access point or replacement below 3m: $60-$65
  • With wired access point or replacement above 3m: $90
  • False ceiling installation with timber (including patch back ceiling): $150
  • New wiring point: $120
  • Re-enforcement (Install thread rod in False ceiling including patching back of ceiling): $240
  • Center flower cornice installation: To be advised

Instant Heater:

  • Replacement: $80
  • Replacement with rainshower: $100
  • New installation: To be advised

Storage Heater: Depends on the type of installation required. Please call us at 6348-7998 and allow our product specialist to advise on this.

Air Conditioner: Please call us at 6348-7998 and allow our product specialist to advise on this.

How do I pay the installation fee?

The installation fee is to be paid directly to the installer.

Notice

If the appliance is to be placed inside a cabinet, please ensure that your cabinet dimensions are properly measured and adequate allowance is given for the washer/dryer/etc to be placed inside.

If unsure, kindly contact us at 6348-7998 and let our salesperson guide you through the proper way of measuring.

Walk-up apartment fee

incl. climbing stairs in HDB and landed property

There is no lift-access to my house. Is there a fee?

Washer (& other equivalent appliances):

  • Climb up/down 1 level: $20
  • Every additional subsequent level: Additional $10

Refrigerator (& other equivalent appliances):

  • 2-door fridge: Climb up/down 1 level: $40; Every additional subsequent level additional $20
  • Multi-door/ Side-by-side fridge: Climb up/down 1 level: $50; Every additional subsequent level additional $30

NOTE:

  1. Higher fees for certain models as it will delivered by agent. Call us and talk to our brand salesman (Hitachi, Europace etc) to find out the fees.
  2. Spiral stairs can only be done on a case-by-case basis. Call us for more info.

Exchange

1 to 1 exchange can be done within 7 days after delivery and only for manufacturing defects. Kindly inform us at 6348-7998 or email to enquiries@megadiscountstore.com.sg with your order number and pictures/videos of the defect.

Exchange of Bulky Appliances

A technician visit will be required to verify the defect mentioned and rectify if possible.

If the technician is unable to rectify it, email us the technician's service report and we can proceed with the exchange. (Do not dispose the original packaging for the first 7 days)

*Items without it's original packaging and complete accessories are not qualified for exchange.*

Exchange of Small Appliances

You will have to bring the defective item and original invoice to our store at Kallang Leisure Park regardless of shipping method chosen.

Our staff will verify the defect mentioned. Once verified defective, we will proceed with an exchange of the same item, or a different item of the same value.

*Items without it's original packaging and complete accessories are not qualified for exchange.*

What payment methods are accepted on your website?

We accept VISA, MasterCard & GrabPay.

If I buy from Mega Discount Store retail stores, what are the available modes of payment?

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit/Debit Card (VISA & MasterCard)
• Paynow
• FavePay
• GrabPay (Installment plans are currently not available in-store)

We also accept the Climate Friendly Households (CFH) Programme fridges and LED lights e-Vouchers for eligible models.

Are prices inclusive of GST?

Yes, prices are inclusive of GST.

Do you accept the NEA Climate Vouchers?

Yes, we accept NEA's Climate Friendly Households Programme e-vouchers for refrigerators and LED lights only.

Vouchers are redeemable only at our retail stores.

It is strictly NOT eligible for an exchange or return/refund.
