Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Can I pour water directly from the tap?
No. Please fill the airpot using a jug or container. Do not fill it directly from a water faucent or place the airpot on a wet surface such as a sink.
Why is there white residue inside the tank?
This is usually mineral scale left behind by hard or mineral-rich water. It is normal and can be reduced through regular descaling.
Why is there a plastic smell?
The first time you use the product, you may notice the smell of plastic. This is normal and will gradually fade away.
Is it okay to use Alkalized Ionic Water?
Yes. However, calcium tens to build up on the surface of the Inner Container with this type of water, so frequenty cleaning is recommended.
Can I put tea or coffee inside?
No. Water airpots are designed to heat water only. Tea, coffee, soup, milk, or other beverages may damage the appliance or affect its performance.
How to Fill the Water Airpot?
For best performance:
Open the upper lid and fill the inner container using a jug or pitcher.
Do not fill water directly from a tap while the appliance is at the sink, as water entering the electrical components may damage the appliance.
Do not exceed the Maximum Water Level indicated inside the container.
Avoid adding hot water directly into the tank, as this may affect the appliance's automatic temperature control.
Do not add tea leaves, coffee, soup, juice, or other liquids besides water.
How Long Does It Take to Boil Water?
It takes around 27 minutes under normal room temperature conditions. The exact time may vary depending on: Starting water temperature, Amount of water inside the tank, Room temperature.
Why is there a rattling sound?
You may hear a light sound when opening and closing the upper lid. This sound is normal and comes from the movement of the weight which prevents hot water from overflowing.
Lights turn on and 'HH' appears on the display. What happened?
The innter Container is low on water or hot water was added to the Inner Container, cause the Automatic Shut-Off function to engange. Please unplug the Power Plug and wait until the Inner Container cools down. Plug the Power Plug back in, add water and press the REBOIL button.
