No preheating is required for most cooking functions, helping you start cooking quickly. Follow individual recipe guidance where applicable.

Can the Ninja CRISPi Pro glass container go from freezer to air fryer?

Yes. The CleanCrisp™ containers are made from thermal-shock-resistant borosilicate glass and are freezer-safe. Avoid sudden temperature changes after cooking: allow hot glass to cool gradually before placing it in water, the sink or dishwasher.

Can I air fry wet battered ingredients?

Yes, but use the proper breading technique. It is important to coat foods first with flour, then with egg, and then with bread crumbs. Be sure to press the bread crumbs onto the food with your hands. Because the unit has a powerful fan as part of its mechanism, the coating can sometimes be blown off. Pressing the bread crumbs firmly on will help them stick.

What is the difference between a glass air fryer and a traditional basket air fryer?

Unlike a traditional drawer-style air fryer, the Ninja CRISPi Pro cooks in transparent glass so you can see food as it cooks. The same glass container can also be used to prep, cook, serve and store food, reducing the need to transfer food between different dishes.

Can I use bake mode to cook frozen foods and for reheating purposes?

The bake mode should not be used for frozen food or reheating purposes. For best results, use the Recrisp or Air Fry mode for reheating and the Air Fry or Max Crisp modes for frozen foods.

How often should the unit, containers, and crisper plate be cleaned?

• The containers and crisper plate should be thoroughly cleaned after every use. ALWAYS let the appliance cool completely before cleaning. NOTE: NEVER immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid. NEVER clean the main unit in a dishwasher. 
• The glass containers and crisper plates can be washed in the dishwasher. If food residue is stuck on the containers or crisper plate, place them in a sink filled with warm, soapy water and allow to soak. Thoroughly air-dry or towel-dry all parts after cleaning. 
• The lids can be washed in the dishwasher (top rack only) or by hand. 
• If hand-washing, thoroughly air-dry or towel-dry all parts after use.
