How often should I replace my air purifier filter?
Replacement timing can vary depending on factors like usage time and indoor air quality. To make this easier, LG Wallfit provides a top display that shows the remaining filter life through color indicators, and the LG ThinQ® app, which monitors remaining filter life and sends alerts when replacement is needed.
Can I control an air purifier with my phone?
Yes. You can control and monitor an air purifier from your smartphone when it’s connected to Wi-Fi. Wall Fit supports the LG ThinQ® app, allowing you to check real-time air quality, turn the unit on or off, adjust mode settings, and receive alerts when the filter needs to be replaced.
Where should I place my air purifier?
Place the air purifier in an open area with at least 1 metre of clearance on both sides. This allows sufficient airflow for the air intake. If the air intake is blocked or there isn’t enough space around the unit, purification performance may be reduced.
For optimal results, use the air purifier in an environment with 40%–70% relative humidity. Performance may vary depending on factors such as temperature and humidity.
Avoid placing the air purifier in direct sunlight or near strong lighting fixtures, as prolonged exposure may cause the exterior to discolour.
What happens when Sleep Mode is turned on?
When Sleep Mode is active:
The main display turns off, leaving only the Sleep Mode indicator visible.
The display brightness is reduced.
A separate operating time cannot be set while Sleep Mode is active.
To exit Sleep Mode, press the Mode button again.
How do I lock the control panel?
The control panel can be locked to prevent accidental operation, such as when children press the buttons.
To lock or unlock the controls:
Press and hold the Ionizer button on the air purifier's control panel for 3 seconds.
Alternatively, press and hold the Air Quality Light button on the remote control for 3 seconds. When the controls are locked, a lock icon will appear on the status panel.
The same procedure can be used to unlock the controls.
Good to know: The remote control can still be used while the control panel is locked. You can also lock or unlock the controls when the air purifier is not operating.
